Bio
I’m a filmmaker working across narrative film, documentary and commercial projects, guided by sustained research into intergenerational memory, belief and archives.
Writing is central to my process.
I studied a BSc and later an MSc in Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics. Anthropology’s emphasis on participation and embodied knowledge continues to inform how I work with people and places.
This approach extends into my ongoing engagement with urbanism through Freehold Magazine, where I focus on placemaking and everyday interventions into urban spaces.
Alongside my film practice, I work commercially with start-ups, fashion brands and cultural institutions. My commercial experience includes project management, branding, graphic design and creative direction.

Set over one autumn night in South London, Birds follows Miles, a young hustler selling literal leaves on a street corner. Commissioned for eight kilos by two older men, he raids a park, gets jumped by kids who rip his haul, and still turns up to complete the deal. Paid but unmoored, Miles drifts into an antique shop where a clerk gifts him a trumpet. He rides through Peckham to an empty building and tries to answer the birds with breath and brass. Inspired by AbdouMaliq Simone’s Improvised Lives, the film stays close to the city’s makeshift economies and minor acts of care—cash, stories, gifts—as the infrastructures that carry us through the night, where survival becomes a style and a voice is found in the cracks between things.
