Bio
I’m a filmmaker working across documentary, fiction and commercial projects, engaged with research into intergenerational memory, belief and archives.
Writing is central to my process.
I studied a BSc at Durham University and later an MSc in Social Anthropology at the London School of Economics. Anthropology’s emphasis on participation and emic knowledge continues to inform how I work with people and places.
This approach extends into my ongoing engagement with urbanism through Freehold Magazine, UN-Habitat and LSE Cities.

DESCRIPTION
Now I Sell Leaves follows Miles, a young man trying to make a living from almost nothing. One autumn night in South London, he stands on a street corner selling fallen leaves. When two older men commission him to gather eight kilos, Miles accepts without question, entering a strange economy where value is invented, survival is improvised, and the ridiculous has its own dignity.
